2010 Entrance Tests Schedules
TIS will hold three entrance tests for the 2010-2011 academic year. The first test occurs in April/May, second in July/August and the final round will take place in December/January (2011). Below are details of July/August testing.
Important:
Grades 4-12 applicants: Please bring your passport with you and check in 30 minutes prior to test time.
July/August Test -- First Round:
Pre-registration for all grades:
9:00am -12:00n, Monday, July 26
9:00am-12:00n, Tuesday, July 27
Documentations required or to be completed:
- Original passport with valid visa
- A two-inch passport-style photo taken within the last three months
- Copies of two years of school record where applicable
- Completed Application for Enrollment form
- Signed Legal Release and Philosophy Statement
- ECC Questionnaire for FC, JK and K Candidates
- English Language Questionnaire for elementary and middle school applicants (Not required for native-English speakers).
- Test Fee (500 RMB per candidate)
Test Dates:
Grades 4-12: 9:30am-11:30am, Wednesday, July 28
Grade 1: Thursday, August 5, by appointment only.
Grades 2-3: Monday, August 2, by appointment only.
Tuesday, August 3, by appointment only.
FC, JK & K: Thursday, August 5, by appointment only.
July/August Test -- Second Round:

9:00am-12:00n, Friday, August 6
Documentations required or to be completed:
Same as the first round.
Test Dates:
Grades 4-12: 9:30am-11:30am, Monday, August 9.
Grade 1: Friday, August 13, by appointment only.
Grade 2-3: Tuesday, August 10, by appointment only.
FC, JK & K: Wednesday, August 11, by appointment only.
