Welcome to Tianjin International School! It is my pleasure to serve as Head Principal in this great community. Excellent education requires a solid partnership between school and family. Tianjin International School (TIS) is a place where teachers, parents and staff work together to bring about the complete growth and development of each child we serve. Our community is our greatest asset and we appreciate you as valued members of this community.
It is my responsibility to support this family partnership and see that each TIS child is prepared for life’s challenges, nurtured to grow, balanced in the use of their minds and hearts, and committed to a life of integrity.
I am excited to see how this will come about with some of our new programs and initiatives this academic year. One example is our 1:1 computing program in high school. Beginning in the fall of 2010, each high school student will have access to a dedicated laptop computer for use in each class and will have access to the computer for homework as well.
