Hear from the Head

TIS Family,

Greetings from HangZhou! Today and tomorrow, myself and leaders from each of our LifePlus schools in China, are engaged in the annual ACAMIS leadership conference. This conference is a professional development opportunity for leaders to grow as we seek to understand future educational trends. This conference represents one of the many ways we seek to invest in professional development as we ensure that our school’s education continues to be top tier.

Principals' Coffee

I want to thank everyone who was able to attend the Principals’ Coffee this week. If you were unable to attend, the ECC performance was certainly a highlight. We also enjoyed the opportunity to share the TIS Strategic Plan which guides the priorities of our school’s decision-making, and more specifically our teacher observation and evaluation tools. We are in the first year of our current three-year plan, and look forward to future opportunities as we seek to keep you updated on growth.

Re-Enrollment

Many of you have already completed the re-enrollment process for the 2024 - 2025 school year. I encourage you to take a few minutes and work through this process at your earliest convenience. Preparations for next school year are well underway and we are excited about expected continued growth. Please remember that the early-bird discount is available to students that are re-enrolled and have made the deposit by the end of business on May 10th.

Finally, if you have the opportunity to support our 6th - 8th graders in the LifePlus Basketball tournament hosted at TIS, please do so. Go Eagles!

Ryan Witt

Head of School
